About Us
Shepherd Country is a small family-owned kennel in East Texas. German Shepherds have been a part of our family for over 25 years, and we take pride in our dogs through the love and care we provide to them.
We are an AKC registered kennel, and currently have 7 adult dogs. This number of Shepherds allows us to give each of them the love and attention they need, as well as properly care for each dog.
Our kennel is located outside of Longview, Texas, about two hours east of Dallas and one hour west of Shreveport, Louisiana. We live on 30 acres of land, providing our dogs with lots of room for exercise and play time!
Our litters are bred to provide you with a wonderful family dog. Our dogs have excellent health, a calm and even temperament, are very trainable, and make a good choice for a family environment with children.
